Louise Gluck recently selected my poem “Caterpillars” as this year’s winner of Sycamore Review’s Wabash Prize for Poetry.
SECOND MANUSCRIPT A FINALIST IN THE NATIONAL POETRY SERIES
Okay, I found this out a while back, but recently decided it was worth posting. My second manuscript, currently titled “Burn Barrel,” was a finalist in this year’s National Poetry Series. This is the first finalist status I’ve had for “Burn Barrel,” and it makes me think the ms. might be worth shaping and sending out more.

Friday, March 11th–I just found out today that High Desert Journal nominated my poem “Because Chunks of My Brother Were Falling From the Sky” for a Puschcart Prize. This is my first Pushcart nomination, and I’m ecstatic and tickled!
